WICKER PARK — For the third consecutive holiday season, you can head to Big Star for both a taco and a Christmas tree.

Starting Friday, City Tree Delivery will begin its fifth holiday season of business, and third in Big Star's outdoor lot at 1531 N. Damen Ave., selling Fraser firs ranging from 4 to 14 feet tall.

"A lot of the customers [in Wicker Park] haven't had a real tree before," said owner Chris Hohenstein. "People really appreciate it."

Hohenstein originally planned to open another location somewhere in the South Loop, but opted against it after being busy with a move and a newborn baby this year.

Hohenstein said he would sell trees at the Artisan Holiday Fair fundraiser at Lincoln Square's Waters Elementary, 4540 N. Campbell Ave.

The trees will be on sale from noon to 9 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays, 4 p.m. through 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 9 a.m. through 9 p.m. on weekends. Expect the trees to cost a $1 per inch.

Hohenstein will be selling "as long as we have trees."
