CHICAGO — Shootings Friday night and Saturday morning left one man dead and at least two others wounded, police said.

A 19-year-old man was fatally shot in his head in Wicker Park about 2:20 a.m. Saturday, said Officer John Mirabelli, a police spokesman. Cops in the area heard shots fired and found the teen laying unresponsive in the 1500 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, near Nick's Beer Garden.

The teen — whose identity was being held pending family notification — was pronounced dead on the scene at 2:30 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

Police have three male suspects in custody, Mirabelli said, but no charges have been filed.

In non-fatal shootings:

• About 2 a.m. Saturday, a man was shot in his abdomen and arm in the 2000 block of West Chicago Avenue in Ukrainian Village, Mirabelli said. The man, whose age was not immediately available, was treated at Saint Mary's Hospital.

• A 17-year-old boy walked into West Suburban Medical Center about 11:30 p.m. Friday with a gunshot wound in his groin, Mirabelli said. The teen claims he was shot while trying to enter a building in the 100 block of South Lavergne Avenue in Austin. A gunman allegedly walked up to the entrance and fired several shots.
