CHICAGO — A 26-year-old woman was fatally stabbed at her home Sunday morning in what police deemed a domestic dispute.
Joanna Lopez, of the 1700 block of West 21st Place, was killed after being stabbed in a "domestic-related quarrel," said Officer Veejay Zala, a police spokesman.
Zala said police were interviewing a person of interest.
Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:50 Sunday morning, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said.
