SOUTH SHORE—A Chicago Police officer's SUV was stolen late Friday night, officials said.

The car, a 2006 silver Infiniti, was stolen from the off-duty officer around 10:20 p.m. near the intersection of 71st street and the East End in South Shore, said Officer Michael Sullivan, a police spokesman.

Inside the SUV were the officer's gun, badge and bullet-proof vest, police said.

The cop was treated for minor injuries on scene. The SUV had not been found as of Saturday afternoon, Sullivan said.
