CHICAGO — Police are investigating the murder of a 75-year-old Englewood man.
Alameen Muhhamad, of the 5600 block of South Racine Avenue, was found unresponsive in his apartment Friday night, police said. He had suffered head trauma.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said Muhhamad died of blunt-force trauma to the head caused by an assault. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 10:31 p.m.
Area South detectives are investigating the death.
