ROSELAND — Police are investigating after finding a 64-year-old woman stabbed to death inside her home Friday, officials said.
Police found the woman dead on the floor of her apartment in the 10800 block of South Calumet Avenue about 10 a.m. The woman, identified as Aurelia Wilborn, was pronounced dead on the scene just after 10:35 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Officials said Wilborn was found with stab wounds in her neck, and her death was later ruled a homicide.
On Sunday, police put out a bulletin alerting officers to be on the lookout for Wilborn's silver Lexus, which is missing and believed stolen.
