CHICAGO — A second man was charged in connection with a New Year's day murder in Grand Boulevard, police said Friday.
Anthony Robinson, 20, was charged with first degree murder in the slaying of Kevin Jemison, 28, in the 4500 block of South Champlain Avenue.
Robinson is the alleged accomplice of Clyde Jackson, 19, who was charged with the murder earlier in January, police said.
About 3 p.m. Jan. 1, Jemison was shot several times by a man wearing dark clothing, police said.
Jemison, who police believed to be affiliated with a gang, told friends at a New Year's Eve party the night before that he believed he eventually would be killed.
Robinson is scheduled to appear in central bond court Saturday.
