Man And Teen Found Shot Dead on West Side

CHICAGO — A man and teenager were both found dead from gunshot wounds in West Garfield Park Saturday afternoon, police said.

Dimitri Buford, 32, and Antonio Fenner, 16, were each found shot in the head about 4:15 p.m. in the 4200 block of West Congress Parkway, police said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office pronounced Fenner, of the 4400 block of West 15th Street, dead at 6:45 p.m., and Buford, of the 1400 block of North Sedgwick Street, at 6:55 p.m.

No one was in custody as of Saturday evening, police said.

The shooting was the second double homicide Saturday. Two men were shot and killed outside a diner on the corner of Wallace Street and Pershing Road about 4 a.m.

Another man was also fatally shot in the 8700 block of South Escanaba Avenue about 6 a.m. Saturday.

There were a total of five shooting homicides Saturday.
