After the on-site eatery closes March 31, the building's owner will look for a new restaurant tenant.

The garage's building proposal said security guards would patrol the structure from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.

"They don't call Rogers Park 'Rogers No Park' for nothing," the alderman said during the ribbon cutting.

Wrecking crews were at the scene of a new 45-unit, 75-parking space development on Morse Avenue Monday.

Changes to the original plan were made, but the building still won't have retail space, officials said.

Developers say the proposal now includes 45 units, more plants and an "enhanced" pedestrian experience.

The Emil Bach House was entirely restored last year.

Billionaire Jennifer Pritzker has invested heavily in Rogers Park.

The mall was sold to a Pritzker company for $3.08 million earlier this month, records show.

The homes will replace a vacant lot on Chestnut Street and Clark Street, according to a statement.
