A spokesperson for 36th Ward Alderman Candidate Omar Aquino said he witnessed the alleged assault. 

The event was in Hermosa but involved wards representing Logan Square and other neighborhoods.

All 13 candidates from wards 26, 31, 35 and 36 are confirmed for the aldermanic discussions.
