Taxi drivers called a city proposal to help the cab industry "too little, too late."

"There is a crisis across the city of Chicago," said Richard Boykin.

Move would 'legitimize' city's street vendors, add $2 million to city coffers, Ald. Maldonado said.  

The company is hosting informational sessions throughout the city to recruit more drivers.
