The best place to learn about Winnemac Park is in Winnemac Park. The park's advisory council will hold an outdoor meeting from 1-3 p.m. Saturday to share information with neighbors about what's going on in the park and to get feedback and ideas for new programs and activities.
The meeting will be followed by a family-friendly cleanup. Supplies and refreshments will be provided, but bring a pair of work gloves if you have them.
The council is also collecting household electronics for recycling.
The meeting will be held in the grassy area just south of the stadium — bring a lawn chair if you'd like a seat.
