The Chabad of Wicker Park/Bucktown will host a Purim Party at 9 p.m. Feb. 23 at its headquarters in Wicker Park, 1630 N. Milwaukee Ave., just north of the six corners intersection.
The holiday celebrates the salvation of the Jewish people from a plot "to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews" that occured in 3405 in the Jewish calendar (356 BCE).
