Haven Theatre Chicago presents "The Wedding Singer," a live theater verson of the 1998 romantic comedy that starred Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler.

The show is about a 1980s wedding singer who aims to make every event a disaster after being left at the altar by his fiancee. He ends up falling in love with a waitress and must "pull of the performance of his lifetime" to win her. 

"The Wedding Singer" will be at the Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave., from Sunday, Oct. 13 to Sunday, Nov. 17. Performances are on Thursday and Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m.

Tickets cost $42. Seniors tickets cost $35, and student and industry tickets cost $20. They can be purchased online or by calling the box office at 773-975-8150.
