Uptown Bikes invites customers and residents to stop in on Tuesday for "Toasty Tuesdays," an event featuring hot chocolate, sweets and information about how they can help the community via various community organizations. This week, youth development agency Alternatives is headlining Toasty Tuesdays.
Uptown Bikes said it will be "toasting Alternatives' invaluable contributions to the Uptown neighborhood," and that this Tuesday's event will feature live performances by local youth. Uptown Bikes is donating 10 percent of its Tuesday proceeds to Alternatives, according to the shop.
