The State of Uptown Luncheon will include food at Furama Restaurant and conversation about the future of the neighborhood, according to Uptown's chamber of commerce. Guest speakers include Ald. James Cappleman (46th), Ald. Harry Osterman (48th), Ald. Ameya Pawar (47th) State Sen. Heather Steans, State Rep. Greg Harris and Cook County Commissioner Bridget Gainer. The event is sponsored by AT&T, and costs $25 for chamber members and $30 for non-members to attend.
