Teams from as far as Norway and India will travel to Navy Pier this week to compete against local artists in a snow sculpting contest, joined by 12 high school teams from Chicago-area schools. View the massive, melting artwork at a free two-day showcase from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9.

Activities for kids including snow painting, snowboarding games and more will be provided, and after dusk the sculptures will be illuminated with colored lights.
