Couples celebrating their 25th or 50th wedding anniversary this year can renew their vows in style at the Field Museum's Silver and Gold Anniversary Celebration hosted in honor of the new "Wonders of the 1893 World's Fair" exhibit.
Qualifying couples will get free admission to the museum anytime on Dec. 7, and at 1 p.m. the museum will lead a vow-renewal ceremony with a special toast and wedding cake provided by Swissôtel Chicago. Interested participants are encouraged to make a reservation by calling 312-665-7100.
Proof such as a marriage certificate, dated newspaper clipping or photo is required.
