Sheffield's Beer and Wine Garden, 3258 N. Sheffield Ave., hosts its 6th Annual Chili Cook Off on Sunday, Oct. 20, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Competition entry is free. First place wins an $100 gift card, second place wins $75, and third place wins $50. People's choice gets a surprise gift. Chili competitors must enter the contest before 12 p.m.
The judges will be Sarah Gruenberg, executive chef of Spiaggia and runner up of Top Chef Texas Season 9, Joe Perino of Mayne Stage and Victor Muscia of Sheffield's.
Tickets cost $25 and includes two beer tickets, access to a BBQ buffet and the chance to try all the competing chilis.
