NEAR WEST SIDE — "Breaking the silence: A call to address child sexual abuse in African-American communities," a symposium sponsored by the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center, will be moderated by TV journalist Merri Dee. Panelists include Robin Stone, author of "No Secrets, No Lies: How Black Families Can Heal From Sexual Abuse."

A $60 registration is required to attend and the fee covers morning refreshments, all sessions, materials and continuing education hours for licensed social workers and counselors.
