Elaine Allensworth, interim executive director at the University of Chicago Consortium on Chicago School Research and managing director of the Urban Education Institute, joins Marisa de la Torre, associate director for Professional Development at the University of Chicago Consortium on Chicago School Research, to discuss a report authored by Torre, "When Schools Close: Effects on Displaced Students in Chicago Public Schools."
The free forum is being hosted by Paul Robeson High School and sponsored by Teamwork Englewood, a South Side non-profit organization. Refreshments will also be served.
