Ravenswood Holiday Walk

Location: 4401 N. Ravenswood Ave.

Businesses along Ravenswood, Montrose and Damen avenues are throwing a holiday open house, and everyone's invited.

Along with special discounts, a number of the participating shops will be offering refreshments and entertainment: free hot chocolate at Perfect Cup and Margie's Candies; live music at Celtica Gifts; face painting at Earth's Healing Cafe, and more.

Margie's, Edward Jones and Perfect Cup are also drop-off points for donations to the USO and Toys for Tots.

The holiday walk takes place 3:30-8 p.m. Thursday.

The event is sponsored by the Ravenswood Community Council and SSA 31.
