Ay-Sha Butler, president of the Resident Association of Englewood, will lead a peace rally at Marquette Park, 6734 S. Kedzie Ave., with activists, religious leaders, artists and other organizational allies and partners from across Chicago and the country.

The purpose of the rally, organizers said, is to gather concerned residents in one place to come up with solutions to problems that lead have led to violence in cities like Chicago. The rally will feature comments and special appearances from prominent hip-hop artists and activists, organizers said.
