The Chicago Cultural Alliance will present a walking tour of Humboldt Park from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 20, beginning at the Institute of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture, 3015 W. Division St.

Tour guides will discuss how the German, Polish and Puerto Rican communities shaped Chicago’s Humboldt Park since its founding in 1869.

This tour has been developed from a collaboration between the Alliance and Alliance Core Members, DANK Haus German American Cultural Center, Institute of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture, and the Polish Museum of America in partnership with the Chicago Architecture Foundation.

The cost of the tour is $20. Spots are limited and should be reserved at the Chicago Cultural Alliance website.
