Northside POWER, a social justice group, plans to host a public meeting with Ald. Joe Moore, State Sen. Heather Steans and State Representatives Robyn Gabel and Kelly Cassidy to talk about issues, including closing corporate tax loopholes in Illinois, placing a moratorium on new charter schools in the 49th Ward and a foodservice plan for new students at Loyola University.

Organizers expect 500 people to attend the event from 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 10 at the Willye White Field House, 1610 W. Howard St.
