North Center throws open its fences for the neighborhood's annual garden walk, noon - 5 p.m., June 23.
A variety of styles will be on display, from native plantings to highly-manicured gardens, and everything in between. Come to admire or be inspired. Live music, local art and cool beverages can be found at various locations throughout the walk.
The check-in station for visitors is located at Bell Elementary, 3730 N. Oakley St., where maps for the self-guided tour will be available. The cost is $5, with proceeds donated to Common Pantry; senior citizens attend for free.
