Each year, St. Pius V School hosts a fundraiser for its "World of Difference" scholarship fund, which allows the school to offer financial aid to Pilsen families who want to send their children to the Catholic school. Some 85 percent of students who attend St. Pius are eligible for free or reduced lunch and more than 90 percent of parents rely on financial aid to help pay for their child's tuition.
The dinner will be held at Carnivale Chicago, 702 W. Fulton Market. Auction items include four one-day park hopper passes to Disney World Theme Parks, a hotel package from W hotel, an autographed Derrick Rose jersey, six tickets to Zanies Comedy Club and more.
