Sheldon Heights Church of Christ will host the annual fundraiser for the nonprofit International Association Medical Mission.
In the parking lot of the church, 11325 S. Halsted St., members will prepare smoked rib tips and chicken dinners that include green beans, spaghetti and bread. Rib tip dinners are $10 and chicken dinners are $8. All proceeds go to the association as it prepares for a medical mission to Jamaica, where it will provide free medicine and exams to the poor.
A Yard Sale will take place in the parking lot adjacent to the barbecue. It will feature items including clothes and electronics at flea market prices (cash only). All proceeds will benefit the association.
