Magicks and Wingtips perform at Transistor Chicago, 3441 N. Broadway, for its weekly free, BYOB performance.

Magicks blends modern music into "dreamy pop music" and then combines it with video projections and unique lighting, according to the venue's site. The Chicago-native will perform both original songs and covers.

Wingtips is Vinny Segretario, a Carbondale native who synthesizes pop music, the venue said. The music is high-energy and dance-worthy.

The show is free but donations are suggested.
