Lillstreet Art Center is previewing its winter classes on Saturday, offering hands-on workshops in painting, jewelry making, wheelthrowing, Photoshop and more, noon-4 p.m., 4401 N. Ravenswood Ave.
The workshops are free, but space is limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The schedule is posted online, with age recommendations for each activity.
Drop-in kids' activities, also noon-4 p.m., include decorating a clay gingerbread man to take home. At 1:15 p.m., the folks from First Slice Pie Cafe will lead guests in cookie decorating.
