The latest lecture in this ongoing series presented by Lillstreet Art Center will feature a talk by artist Matthew Woodward at 7 p.m. April 22 at the Lillstreet Loft, 4437 N. Ravenswood Ave.

Focused mainly on classical drawing, Woodward frequently works in graphite and charcoal.

A native of New York, Woodward now lives in Chicago and his art has come to reflect his adopted home. A recent exhibit at the Chicago Cultural Center was inspired by the decorative work of architect Louis Sullivan.
