Anti-violence activists will take their message through Chicago during the Let Us Live march.

The march begins at noon July 27 at the corner of Roosevelt and Michigan. Participants will go to the Wrigley Building, 430 N. Michigan Ave., where they will listen to a "State of the Hood" address. There will then be a two-hour sit-in from 2 to 4 p.m.

The march has been organized by Project HOOD, the Rev. Corey Brooks and local youth leaders and community activists.
