Attend the opening night of The Ladydrawers Comics Collective exhibition at Pilsen's Uri-Eichen Gallery.

Ladydrawers is a group of women, men, transgender and "non-binary gender folk" who perform and publish comics that look at the way economics, race, sexuality and gender impact the comics industry, other media and Western culture.

Exhibiting artists include Sarah Jaffe (New York), Delia Jean (Chicago), Julia Gfrörer (Portland), Melissa Mendes (Brooklyn), Fran Syass (Chicago), Lindsey Smith (Chicago) and Anne Elizabeth Moore (Chicago).

At 8 p.m., the gallery will show a clip from Ladydrawers' upcoming documentary, "Comics Undressed." Following that, Fran Syass will play brief interviews from people involved in the comics world.

The opening will also have Valentine’s Day treats and music provided by Kara Jackson.
