Chicago Avenue staple Tuman’s Tap is teaming up with La Islan, a foundation dedicated to fighting an epidemic of kidney disease in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua.

Ticket price includes two glasses of sangria and special appetizers (roasted corn and black bean fritters with cilantro cream sauce and chili-rubbed pork skewers with banana-rum compote). The event also features a silent auction with items such as sporting event tickets, dance and yoga classes, restaurant gift certificates, bottles of wine and more. La Isla president and co-founder Jason Glaser will be on-hand to answer questions and discuss the foundation during the gathering.
