The Chicago History Museum newest exhibit showcases African-American fashion through the years, from the likes of Yves St. Laurent, Christian Dior, Oscar de la Renta, Pierre Cardin, Emanuel Ungaro, and Patrick Kelly among others.

The exhibit, which opened to the public March 18, is one of the largest special exhibitions in the museum's history.

"Our exhibition on the Ebony Fashion Fair show offers an unprecedented opportunity to showcase how fashion became a vehicle for African American empowerment, pride and achievement,” said Gary T. Johnson, president, Chicago History Museum.
