The Public House Theatre, 3914 N. Clark St., debuts its first original show "How to Lose Your Job and Alienate Friends" at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6. The show runs at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays until Oct. 13.

This is the first new original work of Pub House Theatre founder Byron Hatfield of "Bye Bye Liver" and the theater's writer's room. The show follows a man's sudden immersion in corporate America after being hired as head of social media at a company.
