Healthcare Town Hall Meeting

WEST PULLMAN —The Ray & Joan Kroc Community Corps. Center will host a town hall meeting to discuss the future of health care in far South Side neighborhoods, such as Roseland and West Pullman. The Mission of Faith Baptist Church is sponsoring the free event.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and free transportation will be provided from Roseland Community Hospital, 45 W. 111 St. to the Kroc Center, 1250 W. 119th St. Health care professionals and community advocates will be on hand to answer questions and explain the upcoming national health insurance mandate, which takes full effect Jan. 1, 2015.
