Harmony House for Cats' Kitty Summer Social

Harmony House for Cats, 2914 N. Elston Ave., will host a "Kitty Summer Social" from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 9.

Information from the Harmony House:

"Join us as we celebrate summer, our first anniversary in our new eco-friendly cageless shelter, and being awarded Platinum LEED status for our new building.

"Sip a glass of wine at the donation wine bar in our courtyard, and enjoy appetizers and desserts. Visit the kittens and cats, and take a 15-minute Green Tour at 2 or 3 p.m., where you will find out more about the solar panels, geothermal wells and other systems that provide energy at our shelter.

"Winning tickets for the Bag Raffle and Whisker Kisses Raffle will be drawn at 4 p.m."

Pets cannot attend this event.
