Taxim's chef-owner David Schneider is pulling out all the stops with a five-course lamb dinner planned for Greek Easter, May 5.

The prix-fixe includes traditional Greek Easter dishes made with lamb and offal and will feature a  charcoal-roasted whole grass-fed lamb from Pinn Oak Farm.

Also on tap is an egg-cracking contest where each person chooses what appears to be the strongest egg and then goes egg-to-egg trying to crack his tablemate's eggs. As legend goes, the person whose eggshell remains crack-free will have good luck for the year.

Taxim opens at 4 p.m. Sunday with dinner service beginning at 5 p.m. Cost is $80 per person and reservations can be made online or by calling 772-252-1558.
