Further proof that Halloween isn't just for kids anymore: Fountainhead's Great Punk'n Party, Oct. 29, 1970 W. Montrose Ave.
The fun starts the minute Fountainhead's doors open at 4 p.m. Grab a pumpkin to carve, along with a seasonal beer or two, or three. The tap list includes B. Nektar Black Fang, Tyranena Painted Ladies, Destihl Samhain Pumpkin Porter, Anchor Brewing Big Leaf Autumn Maple, and Timmerman's Pumpkin Lambicus, with more brews being added.
At 7 p.m. bartenders will start serving Southern Tier Pumking and Uinta Punk'n, pouring them through pumpkin "taps" lined up on the bar.
Beats sitting in a pumpkin patch all night waiting for the Great Pumpkin to appear.
