The Wood Sugars ensemble group is presenting its latest effort on Thursdays through August 29. "A Freak Show Featuring Regular Adults" includes the skit The Gravedigger, about a man on a date who spews his underinformed opinions on women’s issues.
Another is called the 25-Year-Old-Martyr, who is sacrificing her precious free time to going to grad school for a future 8 percent pay raise.
“Freak Show” is presented at The Public House, 3914 N. Clark St. Tickets are $10 and include a drink.
