Inter-American Magnet School, 851 W. Waveland Ave., will host its annual fundraiser Fiesta Cultural on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The event features music, dance, arts, food and activities from around the world. It's intended to build pride in Latino Heritage and raise money for the dual-language school.
This year's performances include the school's International Folkloric Dance Group, Aztec Dance, Chicago Children's Choir and Kid Junge and Latin Street Kids. There will also be free workshops on salsa, bachata, hip-hop, Spanish theater and Afro-Latin percussion.
The community is invited to attend. Individual adult tickets cost $10. Family tickets for two parents and a child cost $25.
