Artist and cultural organizer Favianna Rodriguez will speak on art and immigrant rights at the Chicago Public Library as part of the 2013 One Book, One Chicago program. Rodriguez will lead a multi-media discussion that examines her work, and other art that addresses social change and immigration issues. The free event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at Harold Washington Library's Cindy Pritzker Auditorium.
