WEST PULLMAN —The 24th Annual Real Men Cook will be held at the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps. Community Center, 1250 W. 119th St., where 100 men, mostly fathers, will be grilling up chicken, ribs, hamburgers, hot dogs, pork chops and more. This year, Nate Pendleton, a certified chef and the father of slain teenager Hadiya Pendleton, is serving as the national spokesman and a cook.

Each year the event serves as a fundraiser for the Real Men Charities Inc., which sponsors the Father's Day tradition. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children age 12 and under. Tickets can also be purchased online at realmeancook.com.
