Community Shredding and E-Recycling Day

Need to shred important documents? Stop by the Wicker Park and Bucktown Community Shredding and Recycling Day.

Bring your sensitive paperwork to the Jewel/Kmart parking lot on Ashland and it will be shredded for free. There is a three box/bag limit, but if you have more paperwork than that it can be shredded for $5 per box/bag.

There will also be people on hand to collect unwanted computer equipment. Hard drives will be wiped and all the equipment taken by PC Rebuilders & Recyclers, which refurbishes computers for schools, non-profits and homes. No home appliances will be accepted, but TVs, computers, laptops, DVD and MP3 players, among other items, will be taken.
