Born and raised in Nashville, Bobby Bare Jr. has toured with Bob Dylan, The Decemberists and Andrew Bird, among others. On his most recent album, "A Storm, A Tree, My Mother's Head," Bare sings about an incident that almost left his mother dead in 2008.

Bare Jr. was also nominated for a Grammy at the age of 6 for a duet with his father called "Daddy What If" by Shel Silverstein.
