The Timeline Theatre Company presents "Blood and Gifts," a spy thriller play by J.T. Rogers that delves into CIA operatives' struggles during the Soviet-Afghan War of the 1980s. The play was named a top-10 play of 2011 by the New York Times. 

The play opens May 9 and runs until July 28. It shows at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays, 4 and 8 p.m. Sundays, and 2 p.m. Sundays. Timeline is at 615 W. Wellington Ave.

Tickets cost $42 on weekends and $32 on weekdays.
