The area’s top chefs will gather for a “soup kitchen” fundraiser benefiting the food pantry at Benton House, a social resource agency.
Modeled after the weekly “Soup & Bread” outings at the Hideout, the philanthropic get-together will take place from 6-9 p.m. Thursday on the ground floor of Benton House's Pearse Hall at 3034 S. Gratten Ave., where preservationists have rescued furniture from the shuttered Ramova Grill, complete with diner counter and booths.
The fundraiser is hosted by Chicagoist.
