St. Benedict's BenFest is one of the North Side's longest-running family festivals, scheduled for July 19-21, 2215 W. Irving Park Rd.

New this year: a marketplace on Leavitt Street, featuring art jewelry, clothing, crafts, games and more.

The three-day fest also includes a packed music lineup, food from local restaurants and loads of entertainment for kids. A $10 all-inclusive wristband gives youngsters unlimited access to games, a waterslide, bounce house, train rides, arts and crafts and more.

Admission is a suggested $5 donation; kids under 2 are free.

Separate ticketed events include music performances by Led Zeppelin 2 and Ralph's World.

Proceeds from the festival fund St. Benedict's school and church operations as well as community outreach efforts.

Hours for BenFest are: July 19, 4-11 p.m.; July 20, 1-11 p.m.; July 21, 1-7 p.m.
