A back-to-school health fair and free kids' concert will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at Haas Park, 2402 N. Washtenaw Ave.
This event — sponsored by Rep. Toni Berrios and Liberty Bank — is intended to benefit low-income families preparing for the upcoming school year.
Services at the fair will include immunizations, hearing and vision screenings, haircuts, raffles and information on city and state aide, and backpacks filled with school supplies will be given to children.
A free concert by Little Miss Ann, an Old Town School of Music teacher, take place at 11:00 a.m.
